Cancellations

Because of our small business, cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore, we adhere to a very strict 31-day or more cancellation policy regardless of the reason. If you cancel the day of your reservation, you are responsible for the entire amount owed.

Our entire cancellation policy is based on a 31-day notice, which is agreed upon when the reservation is made.

Cancellation/Transfer Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 31 days before the scheduled arrival date. A $25 handling fee per site is charged for cancellations. Reservations made within 31 days or less from arrival time are non-refundable and non-transferable. Reservations can be changed one time, at no charge, provided a 31-day or more notice is given.

If you have to cancel your reservation, you must call the office during business hours, which are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Email notifications are not accepted. If you call the office and cannot get through, please send an email to let us know you have to cancel, and we will call you.

One-night reservations are non-refundable and non-negotiable.

No refunds, credits, or rain checks provided for early departures.

If you receive a rain check and make a reservation with it, the credit is not transferable. This is a one-time allowance.

Inclement Weather: Campfire Lodgings will transfer your reservation to another date in the event of snow or a hurricane that prevents you from getting to the campground on your planned date. Please contact the park office by phone between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to make these arrangements.
